Iron Belle Trail

Located just across Hwy. 2 from Big Powderhorn Mountain, the Iron Belle Trail runs along the Gogebic Range through the cities of Ironwood, Bessemer, and Wakefield in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

History, culture, and natural beauty await you on the Western Gateway of the Iron Belle Trail. Adorned by miles of forest, with overlooks of rivers and bluffs, you will pass over multiple railroad bridges and take in historical sites while experiencing the premier recreational opportunity in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Run, walk, bike, or even ski and snowshoe in the winter.
