Getting to Big Powderhorn Mountain

Whether you’re driving, flying, or skiing, there are many ways to travel to Big Powderhorn Mountain. Remember, phone reception in the Upper Peninsula can be spotty – especially on the north side of the Gogebic Range as you approach Big Powderhorn, so make sure you’ve got your directions dialed in prior to arriving in “Big Snow Country” 🙂

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

  • From Chicago: I-90 W to I-39 N to US-51 N to Hurley/Ironwood then East on US-2 to Big Powderhorn

  • From Milwaukee: I-94 W to I-39 N to US-51 N to Hurley/Ironwood, then East on US-2 to Big Powderhorn

  • From Minneapolis: I-35 N to MN-70 E to MN-70 E to US Hwy 63 N to WI-77 E to Ironwood/Hurley, then N on US-51 to US-2, then East on US-2 to Big Powderhorn
